I have actually heard of these as real names
Noah Zark
Freddy Krueger
Harlie Davison
Seymour Butz
Mike Rotch
ABCD (first name)
You get the idea..
Seriously do people find this **** funny? I think it is is so immature of the parents they should cherrish everything about thier child not find ways to make mockery of them.

Because the parents are crazy! they have to be on drugs or hate kids to do stuff like that! (:

in that case, the shouldnt have kids, which means stop having unprotected sex when your drunk every day! (:

I have absolutely no idea.

In some european countries you have to submit your name to some government board before they give you a social security number and all that and the board will either approve or disapprove of the name. If they disapprove, you wont get a socialsecurity number unless you come up with a different name or take them to court, fight your case and win. ( I was born and raised into my late teens in such a country I now live in usa)

There are thousands of names to choose from and they update the lists all the time but it keeps weird names like IceTea ( I know a kid named that) or ABCD from being used. They also have really no unisex names and I am kinda on the fence on that one in need to be controlled but I think many kids would be glad if someone had stepped in when their parents were naming them and said no frikkin way are you naming your kid Lemonjello (also seen that one)

Some parents are just short sighted and think the joke will be funny into the child's mid 20's but most parents genuinely believe they are doing a good thing. Penn Gillette famously went on defense of bizarre names arguing that it encouraged creativity and breaking away from the mundane would prove beneficial.

It's worth noting that names have no long term effect on somebodies success in life as the book Freakonomics pointed out.

as for the freddy krueger name i saw the name before myself and the man was named that before the movies came out and it is a family name, as for the other names what country was the person born in, names don't always translate well and what you find as a bad name in english may have no significance or a different meaning in another country. then you just have parents who are stupid and smoking something.

i know my friend gave her daughter an unusual name that way the chance of sharing her name with someone else would be slim. another gave her son an odd name but it was a family name. and unless it's your name don't worry about it and a person can always change their name if they don't like the one given to them at birth.

I know a girl who named her daughter Harley Quinn-for his love of motorcycles and her love of romance novels.

I don't get it myself. Tree, is not a name. Valkerie is NOT a name. And for pete's sake, do you really think the little boy in New Jersey named Adolf Hitler will even LIKE his name when he grows up.
