Question:
Will you wish me "bon voyage"?
2007-08-22 16:13:31 UTC
Well my packing is done, the house all tidy but I am afraid to go to sleep now in case I oversleep and miss my train !(I have pre-booked a very cheap ticket to the Yorkshire Coast but *must* get on that specified train - certainly no hanging about in airport terminals for me though - I am my own "baggage handler"!).
I must say that it is nice just having myself to care for and I shall stay away just so long as the weather holds up - maybe even longer!
Isn't it nice to relax sometimes - after having had things out and leaving others to think about things until you return and the air has cleared?
Anyhow I am only saying this because last time I went off someone posted a question asking where I was - well this time you know and I am going to have a *real* break away from it all (including Y!A !).
Best wishes,
Joan.
Oh - I shall resolve the rest of my open questions before I go too - thank you for the answers - I have learnt some useful things.

Yes I shall miss you on here but you just go and relax and have a good time revisiting your childhood. Speak to you when you get back.

Whereabouts on the Yorkshire coast exactly?

Could it be Whitby or Robin Hood's Bay?

Robin Hood's Bay is the nicest spot on the whole of the east coast, and Whitby, there's something about that place that makes you just want to keep going back. But wherever you are going,Have a good old time, enjoy your break, leave all your worries behind and just relax.Let us know when you get back how things went.

Have a safe journey.

P.S. Can you bring me a stick of rock back please?Any flavour but Aniseed, lol

Joan..When you get to Robin Hood's Bay,go to the chip shop at the bottom of the hill,it's up that narrow path on the right. They do excellent fish and chips, and then go across to the Bay Hotel and if you drink have one for me,mine's an ice cold Guinness.Cheers!

Thanks for the link.

Bon voyage is French yet you assert it in Haitian Creole and different French Creole too. The pronounciation is the comparable yet you write it in a different way in Haitian Creole . it incredibly is going to be "Bon Vwayaj" yet you will pronounce it Bon voyage. like the French one.

"after having had things out and leaving others to think about things until you return and the air has cleared?"

Oh dear Joan, what have you said?

Anyway, enjoy your break and as well as the others, why don't you take a little time to think about things as well and while you're nice and relaxed you may see that most of your worries are tiny and you could have so much more fun just enjoying the boys.

Have fun.

Have a VERY enjoyable trip, please. A little relaxing time should be great. If you are a "drinker"--drink one for me. If you are not a drinker--that's ok--I don't drink anyway. lol
