I agree with the others do some research and I think you should talk about it with your daughter before you make any decisions.

the Freemasons? they are just like the Elks, mooses, or shriners. They have no connection to satan, but i have never heard of women being in the masons, ive only heared of them being in the Eastern Stars(female masons group) or something like that. Ask Her

That sounds scary, but I don't think the Masons do anything satanic. I would try and find more info on it before I took action

There is nothing about Satan in the Masonic temples. You need to do some research and get informed. The thing your daughter is in isn't any wilder than the Moose club or the Civitan or Rotary clubs. Really.

Masons are not a bad thing at all. The shrines that wear the crazy hats and help children with orthopedic and burn problems for free are required to be masons first. masons are hugein community service and helping others. I don't think there is anything wrong with this group, just do some research.

I don't know much about Masonic groups, and it sounds like you don't either. I would really do the research and educate yourself before you step in. Your daughter is depending on you to protect her and help her make the right decisions, and it sounds like you are. But imagine how it will make her feel if you try and end something that is positive in her life. Make sure you know what you are talking about before you decide to take action!

Do you know how many of our founding fathers of this country were freemasons? My father-in-law was a mason before he died. He went to church 3 times a week and was one of the most Christian examples of a fine man I ever met besides my father.

well in my opinion cults are good because it can give the person a feeling of belonging and community , but bad because you are not an individual more like a collective. my parents joined a cult (well before they met each other that is) it was gergief i think thats how it was spelled and it was perfectly harmless so they thought the opnly thing is they own your thoughts and actions and they forced my parents to get married and shortly after having me and my sister they got divorced. why because they were influenced by the cult and now i have alot of issues with not having a family based child hood. So cults are something to stay away from in my opinion because they can influence people in ways that arent necessarily benificial to the person. who knows what the masonic cult does but they obviously have to stick by rules and do things no questions asked what are those rules and regulations who knows. if it was my kid i would say hell no and kick down the door and get my daughter back.she is way too young and really impressionable at that age .

Freemasonry is not a cult. It is a shame you only hear things from uninformed or misinformed anti-masons. Freemasonry is a social fraternity that studies morality and provides more charity than any other group on the planet.

They help more children than anyone else. they are a good group.

You are very misinformed about what the founding fathers did to your ancestors... they did not such thing.

I doubt everything you say here because none of it is accurate with regard to any masonic group I am aware of.

I would say neither, and if we have to stoop down to the level of "you are more like a cult than I" then we have gone to far. There ARE cults out there, and Catholics and most Protestants are not them. But there have been some Protestant groups break away and form Cuts, (Jim Jones) but that is not and indictment on the Protestants as a whole. We are all Brothers and Sisters in Christ, we need to act like it more. Peace and God Bless you all.
