I'll admit that I got caught up in the hype but after thinking about it. Britney is a new Mommy! She isn't God she doesnt know all the answers. I dont have any kids but when I do... I'm certain I'll make mistakes. I'm sure! I'm just sick and I do feel kinda bad that everyone is being so analytical about her Mommyhood. and I aint even a fan of hers!

It is a big deal...she's putting her child at risk. Have you ever seen an accident where someone was holding a baby in the front seat? Those poor little ones fly through the windshield! I am a mother of three, (my oldest 5, my youngest 5 months) and I know if that ever happened to me, I would hate myself for the rest of my life.

And by the way, Brittany could have had a hell of a lot better dude that HIM. He's nothing but a loser, mooching off of her money. He doesn't respect her, he's got the good life right now. The only good thing she has is having her baby, and also the bun in the oven. She's a strong girl, she can do it herself...as long as she starts putting them IN THE CARSEAT...EVERY time.

Britney Spears Stumbles, Nearly Drops Baby

NEW YORK (AP) - Britney Spears stumbled outside a Manhattan hotel, nearly dropping her 8-month-old son and further fueling the ever-growing media scrutiny of her parenting skills.

In photos splashed across the front page and inside the New York Post on Friday, the 24-year-old pop star is shown exiting The Ritz-Carlton hotel with Sean Preston in one hand and a glass in the other.

As her bodyguards walked Spears to her car, she stumbled - her long pants apparently getting tangled in her open-toed shoes - and bent low as Sean Preston's head flung backward, knocking off his orange hat.

Spears, though, was able to keep her balance and hold on to her son, with help from a bodyguard, who reacted quickly.

A call to Spears' publicist Friday seeking comment was not immediately returned.

The baby bobble was the latest public incident involving the safety of Spears' child. Earlier this week, she was photographed driving with Sean Preston in a car seat facing forward rather than facing backward, which some safety regulations say is best.

Spears, who recently announced that she's pregnant with her second child, was visited by a sheriff's deputy at her home in Malibu, Calif., last month after Sean Preston slipped from his nanny's arms as she was lifting him from a high chair and something in the chair snapped.

In February, authorities visited Spears' home after photos showed the singer in a car with her son in her lap, instead of being strapped to a car seat in the back seat. She first blamed pursuits by the paparazzi, but later said it was a "mistake."

I don't know what the big deal is either. I myself had my son in a forward facing toddler seat at 8 months old. Of course he weighed 25lbs, and held his head up pretty good cause he is a big boy and I was never questioned about it. The doctor even told me it would be fine. I'm not a fan of hers either, but the media definatly needs to lay off.

she is doing too much stuff that is bordering on endangerment stuff that if common knowledge lie the carseat thing that was just crazy it is as if she really doesnt think about anything before she does it and new mom or not it is a mommy's job to protect their child. she treats the baby like another toy for a spoiled rich brat

the big deal is that she is putting her childs life in danger and there is no excuse for her not to have her child strapped in safely she could go to any EMS, Fire station, or Hospital and they would show her how to install it so there is no excuse she has let her baby fall and fracture his skull, driven with him in her lap, almost dropped him in public, and now she has him in his carseat so loose that there is a good chance that he could die in a car accident yes all new mothers make some mistakes but she acts like she is carrying around a doll and all she needs now is another child

Its because she is "somebody"..(chuckle)..

Everyone wants to make Celebrities in to god and goddesses, as if they are "bigger than life", because we all live dull lives and they, the media want to make us think that they are LIVING "the" life.

I'm sorry, but, she has a job, just like I had a job (retired now), and now, her job is mommyhood. But, like all "superstars", they cant do this on thier own...NOOOOO they have to have Nannies to help them. To make sure that they dont goof up. (Like its so hard to raise a kid...

***hmmm scratch that, lots of people goof and kill thier kids and do harm to thier kids...

So, Ok, they get "professional help", because they are not interested in raising kids, just thier careers. They have never had to face "real responsibility" for another human being, except thier selfish selves...

And that is just my opinion of "superstars"...

She just an air head if she really cared about her kid then she would take care of him like he deserves, its not that hard to know that you put you kid in the carseat at all times and you face it backwards until they are one year old and 20lbs, not just one not just 20lbs, but BOTH! Every carseat comes with instructions on how to use it and put it safely in your car, unless you buy a used one and we all know she didnt buy a used one! I'm sure she spend a millon on it just to not use it . And oh great she really needs another kid! and with that loser kevin they both suck!
