How many parents believe you are never too old for a spanking?

I was raised to believe you are never too old for a spanking. Im just wondering how many parents tell their kids you are never too old for a spanking? Some parents do this. Do you tell your kids you are never too old for a spanking?

I think over the age of 10 is too old for a spanking. My kids are 2 and they get spanked if needed but I would never spank a child over 10 years old. After that age, your pain sensation changes and you are not affected as much by the pain as when you were a small child. It isn't effective to spank a child over 10 years old.

Well my mom always said "If you're young enough to live in my house, you're young enough for a spanking". I never needed a spanking past the age of about 5, though. I think if you still need to spank past the age of about 6 or 7, it's obviously not working. I find spankings are usually only appropriate for toddlers who cannot be reasoned with.



Our kids have only been spanked about 2 or 3 times in their lives and honestly I think the last time any of them were spanked was at least 2 years ago.

I think most parents stop spanking kinds when there around the age of 12! To tell you the truth I think it's ridiculous to spank teenagers, but I know parents who do if they have to. I got a few spanking when I was a teenagers. But for the most part parents stop when there kids are around the age of 12.

ok first question i do no longer choose mothers and fathers for spanking as i think of a few youngsters probable prefer it on occasion yet there does come a time you're able to end. My parents kept spanking me until I was 23 and my kids know that. My kids are in their mid to late teens, still subject to spanking when I think they need it, and fully expect it as long as they keep living at home.
