My husband is in Iraq so I will hopefully only be a single parent for a year. It's a very hard job and my hat is off to all of you dealing with this!

Hello ..yes it is verrry hard ..I am a single parent of twins ..been single since they were 2mos old ..their almost 2 yrs now .. you need to remember to take some time for yourself .. check the local community center for kids programs and family or friends to have a night off once in a while ..I love my girls to pieces ..but I'm better able to cope with some of the little stresses after I've had some "me" time .. you'll feel more relaxed and patient .. good luck hun ...and remember there is a light ..your hubby will be home soon enough ..

it`s hard..not just because ur the only one taking care of ur baby but also because u put in ur mind that it is hard! try to think positive for ur situation! being a single parent in JUST a year doesnt seem to be that hard! i mean, look at the other women who are a single parent for like about 5-10 years already? but still, theyre doin it very good! ur being a single parent for a year makes u strong enough to be a MOMMY of ur baby..and a year is not that long! just think positive and ull surely make things better as u thought it would be! Good Luck

I were married 27 years and a figure for only about fifteen. My husband replaced into in the provider and replaced into on an unaccompanied excursion or deployed 4 and a 1/2 of the perfect six years he replaced into lively duty. I many times felt like a unmarried figure. there have been exceptions to my "geographic unmarried" from my sister's divorced unmarried. I had a needed different who worked not worry-free and contributed financially to the major different and toddlers; my sister's had baby help. although i replaced into in person-friendly words waiting to consult my husband once per week (or a lot less,) I nonetheless had contact with him; my sister's dated and had bodily modern emotional and actual contact. I lived for the time of the rustic from my relatives and had no interior of reach help equipment for an excellent style of the time he replaced into gone; my sister's lived interior of a few miles of my father and mom and had help each and each and every of the time. except your chum is wildly efficient in her earn a residing from abode agency, i'd ought to wager that her husband is financially contributing to the major different and toddlers -- possibly not his finished paycheck, yet a truthful element of it. only because you overheard an difficulty and function probably heard her fringe of the priority, it does not always propose that your interpretation of the priority is actual. notwithstanding, if he's protecting his paycheck even as she is providing each and each and every of the monetary, emotional, and tutorial help besides to each and each and every of the upkeep on the abode, she might want to evaluate walking faraway from her marriage. She will be more desirable off as a unmarried figure. would I say that she sounds like a unmarried figure? it extremely is something in person-friendly words she will be in a position to opt for. notwithstanding, she has a needed different who lives in the abode, so i does not imagine that's a similar element. even even as i replaced into on my own with my toddlers for months on end, it wasn't a similar as what my sister's went by and are nonetheless dealing with.

As hard as it is for you being a single mom, it's harder for your husband to be away from his family. It's hard to be a man and be away and to just "suck it up" because your a guy.
