Hey mommies and daddys, what are you getting your hubby/wifey/fiance/bf/bd/bm/partner for Vday?

I cant think of anything to get my boyfriend
This is our 2nd Vday as a couple and I dont have a clue. I got him a card last year and he was happy. He isnt big on holidays. In his family, they dont give presents for Vday or anything. Not even flowers or candy so he is still adjusting. I know he would just be happy with a card but I want to get him something more than that.

How do you figure out what your partner wants? What did you get them this year? How many vdays have you spent together?

I got him his main gift early...a big screen tv in time for the Super Bowl. I also hope to have another gift ready for him...a positive pregnancy test.

Here's a cute idea for you boyfriend...I did this for my husband one year. I made him a bouquet of chocolate suckers. I got heart shaped molds and made suckers that were white chocolate, chocolate and red chocolate. I also put some sprinkles and stuff in some of them. Then, I wrapped each in clear cellophane and tied them with a red ribbon. I put the whole bunch of them in a flower pot, so they looked like beautiful little flowers.

A pair of rubber gloves, some kitchen cleaner and a pat on the back if he does well lol

Seriously. I have no idea.. He likes the programme Top Gear so maybe get him a DVD or a book.

He'll be taking me out to dinner. He doesn't know that yet, but he will be lol

edit : This is our 13th Valentines day, The novelty isn't quite there for us anymore lol but its still fun and the perfect excuse to demand to be spoiled lol

Ugh I have no idea. I have been wanting to get him something special for awhile now because our family just recently went through something really positive and I want him to know how I much I appreciate him.

With Valentines Day coming up, it seems like a good time to present a gift.

I have no clue what the gift should be, though. I'll be watching ur answers. Good question.

It sounds kinda cheap I guess but we're getting each other gloves. Mine are literally falling apart and he lost his last year. We're at the end of a very difficult financial struggle right now and it's cheap and very useful! This is our first Valentine's Day being married, second one together as a couple. We were best friends for 5 years before that.

I kinda wish we would have thought of it for Christmas though, considering we just got 21 inches of snow!

I got him a t-shirt, and a chain to put his ring on because he can't wear it on his hand when he works.

I know he'd be happy with a gift card though. I try to put more thought into it, but I he's very easy to please.

We've been together for... 5 vdays.

Add: One year I just bought a bunch of sex toys. lol Different lubes, different kind of condoms, sex handcuffs and put them in a valentines bag. Hah, he really liked that one.

Oh, and if your short on cash here is another idea. When we first started dating we both got all dressed up. He wore a suit, I was done up in a skirt and fancy hair... and we went out to eat at Subway. lol It was fun.

I usually get him a Valentines Day card & a gift card to his favorite place. A gift card isn't very fun, so this year I've decided to do something different! I'm getting some professional 'naughty' photos of me. I plan on getting pregnant soon, so I better show off my body to him while it's still sexy.. lol

He's taking me out for dinner. Then we'll probably just sit by the fire place & drink a glass of wine.

I just go with my gut instinct. & this will be our 3d Valentines Day together.

Nothing. My husband HATES Valentine's Day. He's a chef, so he's forced to work that day, and deal with the ridiculous drama that is Valentine's in his restaurant. When we were 20 or so, we decided that the stress of it all just wasn't worth it. We've been together since we were 17, so we're on the 15th time that we've been together on February 14th.

Best thing to get any hubby, especially if they're not holiday-crazy is a nice romantic dinner, something special, then a massage with a sexy outfit.. that's what I'm doing, it's also cheap and we really can't afford anything big right now :P

He's taking me to the tattoo place as a gift, lmao..

I got him one of those giant cookies, and asked them to personalize it, and they're delivering it on Saturday! I'm really bad at keep surprises, so hopefully I can keep it a secret until then. Or else it won't be as fun. :)

"How do you figure out what your partner wants?"

He really isn't hard to shop for. Sometimes I ask for ideas, but he usually likes what I get him. He likes cookies, so I think we're good.

"How many vdays have you spent together?"

This is our 3rd.

I got him a nice picture frame that say LOVE on it and put a picture of us in it. I also got him a kinda small decorative pillow that will probably go on our bed and it says, "My Heart Belongs To You." I got him a heavy sweatshirt (convenience kinda). See's chocolate. Oh and a nice wall decoration from Kohl's that says some love saying...don't remember exactly. It's sweet girly things but something I know he'll cherish and when he sees it he'll remember this Valentine's Day. Just Love decoration stuff that says how much I love him, and would go in our bedroom (where I think should be filled with love !!!

Since Valentines Day is also his birthday, I'm going to surprise him by cooking him his favourite dinner and our daughter is going to help me make him a cake while he is at work. He unfortunately has to work 4pm-8pm that day, but that gives me time to make the dinner and cake.

Then we're just gonna hang out at home and watch some movies. Then when we go to bed, I'll surprise him with some new lingerie, cliche maybe, but it gives me a chance to buy myself something LOL :)

This will be our 3rd Valentines Day together.

My boyfriend and I are having our first Valentine's Day together and we mutually decided just to go out to dinner and enjoy the evening together.

If you want to do something sentimental you can make him something, one of my girlfriends is going to make her b/f heart shaped fudge. That could be a cute idea?

He's getting a bag of chocolate reisens. I splurged and got him the mid-sized bag at target, not as big as say the Sam sized one, but then you'd get sick of them anyway.

I usually get passed over on Valentine's Day. It's not that I want to support a Hallmark Holiday, I want to be recognized as the hot, loving woman that I am.

I'm thinking of telling him I'm pregnant and 5 minutes later saying "Nope, I'm not." I'd wait for that look of relief and then say "That feeling is your Valentine's Day present."
