the wiggles deep down are horrible people.
one show in my house that has been banned since my kids were born.
The wiggles.

last year they earned over 28 million. lead singer sam only got 200,000 while the other 3 wiggles made millions. all with a 30% cut.

blue wiggle Anthony was mean to sam and wouldn't speak to him for 2 years for no reason.
he hated him and made sure his brother kicked him out of the group.

he had no warning, just told to come to the studio one day.
he comes and out of nowhere he is fired.

they sell stupid wiggle toys for too much, around $30 for a toy guitar backpack.

wiggles are all about the money, purple wiggle jeff wanted to retire but the others wouldn't let him.

they are untalented buffoons. My kids will never see the wiggles and my money will never line those jerks pockets.

My kids don't watch the wiggles, I think it's stupid personally.

I don't want it on my tv set.

I didn't know the background on them,

If that's all true then they sound like jerks.

Thank god my 2yo isn't wrapped in the wiggles. I don't think I could take the lame moves, Pointless characters and baby songs.

The Wiggles hired Sam to replace Greg. They employed him on a contract. So they are allowed to pay him whatever they have agreed to. Sam would have agreed to this pay as well. Don't forget that The Wiggles made a name for themselves with Greg as the yellow Wiggle, before Sam came along.

He wasn't fired out of nowhere. He was told that his contract was finished and they would not be renewing it.

You can't believe everything you read. You need to make sure you look at it from both sides.

They are not untalented. They wouldn't have made this much money if they had no talent.

Who cares? That has nothing to do with how the Wiggles perform, or what they reach kids.

And to most kids, Greg is always the only yellow wiggle, even in the older shows when it was Sam, they still think it's Greg. Sam is too far gone now to really be remembered or paid any attention by the kids.

I could live without the Wiggles, personally, and I'm lucky that here they come on in the middle of the night. But their show is wholesome enough, even if their personal lives don't reflect this. The show we don't watch in our household is Spongebob Squarepants, becaue it makes no sense, and is too violent for no reason whatsoever. I think you are allowed to ban whatever shows you wish for whatever reason in your own household, and it certainly seems that the Wiggles have given you plenty of backup. Good for you!

It's not like they talk about that on the show. Unless you tell your kids how horrible the characters are in real life and make them notice they make money anyway, it shouldn't be a problem

If they entertain kids, then who cares what they do in their personal lives. They could be smoking crack back stage for all I care, just as long as they don't teach that to my children, I'm fine.
